I’m over 35 — Why did you ask for ID?
ALL persons requesting a “Over 21” bracelet MUST Present a government issued Photo ID. (Yes, Gramma who is in her 80’s and her grandson who just turned 21 yesterday — and everyone in between.)
How much is parking?
Premium Parking will be onsite at the Antique Gas & Steam Engine Museum and Guajome Academy for $10 Cash Only. Regular parking will be offsite at Vista High School for $5. A shuttle will be provided to get to festival grounds.
Must I buy Food/Bar/Activity tickets?
Our vendors and food booths take cash, card and tickets.
Weapons Range and other activities take only tickets.
Alcohol may only be procured using tickets.
FYI — Tickets are non-refundable but may be donated to our charity — the Multiple Sclerosis Society of America at their photo booth.
What other amenities are available?
For your convenience, we have the following on the festival grounds: ATMs, Restrooms, Handicapped Restrooms, First Aid, Lost & Found
May we bring outside food and drink?
No outside food and drink are permitted. However, personal water bottles will be allowed. Our event permit does not allow people to bring alcohol into the event. Anyone found bringing alcohol into the event will be asked to leave.
Is the Festival wheelchair accessible?
Yes, with the understanding that we are an outdoor event. Persons using a wheelchair or persons with a mobility issue may encounter some uneven ground at the event bt for the most part, the event area is flat.
May we bring a pet?
Pets are not permitted.
Smoking Policy
Smoking, including vaping, cigars or pipes, is not permitted on the grounds. The AGSEM is on County Property so no smoking or vaping is allowed. The use of cannabis in any form is prohibited at all times.
Do I have to come in Viking Garb?
No, comfortable clothes are recommended. Many of our guests come in viking garb and we feel that the whole experience is heightened and more fun when you come dressed to play.
Do you take Credit/Debit cards?
Entrance fees and two of the food/bar ticket sale locations take credit/debit cards. Most of our vendors take credit/debit cards. If you have need of cash, we have several ATM machines on-site.
Is Re-entry Allowed?
