The Vista Viking Festival is a family-oriented gathering dedicated to Scandinavian heritage, traditional craft, and fellowship. We uphold clear standards to keep our grounds welcoming and safe for all guests.

Appropriate Coverage

No Political Slogans

All attendees, regardless of gender, must wear a shirt, tunic, or top covering the chest and torso at all times. Bare chests are strictly prohibited on the festival grounds.

Garments, kilts, and historical costumes must fully conceal undergarments, buttocks, and private areas. Sheer fabrics without undergarments or excessively revealing attire are not permitted.

Apparel, banners, or hats featuring contemporary political campaign slogans, candidate endorsements, or polarizing partisan messages are strictly prohibited across all festival venues.

Absolute Zero Tolerance

No Hate Symbols or Extremism

The Vista Viking Festival has no place for racial supremacists, neo-Nazis, or hate-group ideology. We do not permit any clothing, badges, patches, or visible tattoos bearing hate symbols, neo-Nazi imagery, racial slurs, or racial supremacist insignias.

Any guest carrying racist tattoos or iconography must have them completely covered and concealed before entering and at all times while on museum property. Scandinavian heritage and Norse runes represent historic culture, community, and craft; we will not allow them to be weaponized by extremists. Violators are ejected immediately without refund.

Security personnel inspect attire, banners, and carry-in items at all admission checkpoints prior to admitting attendees.

All historical period blades, axes, and bows must be strictly blunt, safely sheathed, and securely peace-tied by safety officers.
